Donors & Sourcing

Food Banks

We receive free commodities through the Central Illinois Food Bank each month. Low cost purchases can also be made for minimal contributions (averaging .19 cents per pound). This is a big source of our protein items each month. All items through the Midwest Food Bank are free.

Local Business Partners

Since 2017, we have had the biggest partnership with two local retailers: Mayfield's Produce and Bill's IGA. Through these local businesses we are able to make cost effective purchases and also receive some donations as well. We ask that you shop their stores and help them as they help us.  We are small town proud.

Grants

Our first received grant for 2019 is from Southwestern Electric for Operation Round Up.  We received $500 toward the purchase of hygiene items.

In June we received a grant from the Operation Rice Bowl Grant from the Catholic Diocese of Sprinfield as a benefit of a specia Lent offering.

Organizations

The churches of Staunton each find ways to contribute to the Helping Hands Center. We also have a lot of support through the local Scouts, 4H and schools.
